Patricia Ruddle

Printmaker, photographer and photo historian, Patricia Ann Ruddle works with traditional chemicals, inks and their different processes to produce contemporary pictures.

With printmaking Patricia enjoys the freedom to develop non-representational pictures, using elements such as texture, line and colour to create images. This departure for her has been influenced by organic shapes and places visited.

With the photographic process, Patricia takes pleasure in the activity of taking images and exploring various ways in which to produce an impression of how she felt initially capturing the scene; finding a rapport between the old and new.
